Hello,
I studied your article Acegi Security in One Hour – JavaWorld (October 2007). I try to apply it on Struts2 but I am not sure which changes I have to make.
I would be grateful if you could direct me a little.
Thank you.
Hello Kirk,
If you see the sample code available with the article, you’ll find that technical infrastructure for Struts 2 implementation (web.xml, necessary Jars, applicationContext.xml) is already in place. FilterToBeanProxy already listens to *.action url-pattern. So if you use the available implementation with the article, Struts 2 implementation should be pretty straightforward.
Hope it helps.
Thanks

Saw your comment on InfoQ about Mocktail. If you’ve written much code for your project, you’ll probably realize it’s an incredibly hard problem to solve in a generic fashion.
Are you interested in selling such a solution to real life customers? We have an open position for a very senior presales engineer, based in India but covering all of Asia and Japan. Let me know if you’re interested. If not, if you have any referrals we pay referral fees.
